Jungle Jacket: Jim Crowe, SF

This item is part of a larger grouping that includes four shirts, three of which are jungle jacket. A family member citation reveals that Jim Crowe served in both Korea and Vietnam, where he earned four Purple Hearts. Unfortunately, no further information is available about his service.

The shirt is a 3rd pattern ripstop-cloth jungle jacket in DPSC (government) contract, size Small-Short. Contract no. 7190.

It features a rare theater-made Sentry Dog scroll tab (most likely Korean) and a unique misalignment of the 8th Army patch on the right SSI, adding to its cool and distinctive appeal.
